What exactly does Viewing Buddy do?

We attend a scheduled property viewing on your behalf, work through your personalised checklist, ask your nominated questions and send a clear, factual same-day report with permitted photos or video.

Are you a real-estate agency or building inspector?

No. Viewing Buddy is an independent viewing-assistance service. We are not a real-estate agency, building inspector, pest inspector, property valuer or legal adviser, and we provide visual observations only.

Which areas do you cover?

We launch across Brisbane, Moreton Bay and selected South East Queensland suburbs. Travel outside the standard area can be arranged as a configurable add-on.

How quickly will I get my report?

Reports are delivered the same day as the viewing, so you can make your decision without losing the property.

Can you take photos or video?

Yes, where the agent or property manager permits it. Photography, recording and live video always depend on permission granted at the viewing.

When do I pay?

For our launch, you submit a booking request first. Once we confirm the service area and timing, we issue a secure payment link — so availability is confirmed before you are charged.

Can I join the viewing live?

Yes. Our Live Viewing Buddy package lets you join a live video call where authorised and guide the walkthrough in real time.

Do you guarantee the property is suitable?

No. We report factual observations from the viewing at that point in time. You remain responsible for your rental and purchasing decisions, and important points should be confirmed with the property manager.

How do you help avoid rental scams?

An independent set of eyes at the property helps confirm a listing is real. We encourage you never to pay a bond or deposit based solely on a social-media listing.
